Abandon Option
In campaigns, this advanced settings allows for the selection of an abandon option:
- Hang Up: If a call is classified as abandoned, this option hangs up the call.
- Any Agent: If a call is classified as abandoned, this option sends the call to any available agent.
Abandoned
An abandoned call occurs when multiple calls are answered, but no agents available to receive those answered calls. For example, if three numbers are dialed, and three numbers are answered, if an agent takes one call and there are no available agents, then the remaining two calls are classified as “abandoned.”
